⚡ Pro Tips – All Levels
  • Defensive plays: Drag the fielder to where they received the ball, then tap the other fielders they threw to.
  • Undo: Back arrow undoes your last action. Use freely.
  • Subs & lineup: Record changes in real-time or stats go to the wrong player.
  • Disputes: Home team GC is the official scorebook.
  • Lineups: To load the opponent's lineup, tap OPPONENT and scan their scorekeeper's QR code. To share yours, tap MY TEAM then SHARE MY LINEUP.
Positions
  • Record all fielders correctly. Sync with opposing GC operator before each half-inning.
  • Always get right: pitcher & catcher.
Errors
  • Record if an avg fielder could have made the play.
  • Bad throw → error on thrower
  • Missed catch → error on receiver
  • Fielder's Choice: Fielder retires a different runner — batter gets Fielder's Choice, not a hit. Fielder fails → evaluate for error.
Passed Ball & Wild Pitch
  • Passed ball: Catcher should've caught it but it got by him.
  • Wild pitch: Uncatchable — gets behind the catcher.
  • When a runner advances and the ball gets behind the catcher, assign a passed ball or wild pitch as the reason. Use your judgement.
Special Plays
  • Dropped 3rd strike: Record from the PITCH menu.
Sacrifice Plays
  • Sac fly: Fly out, runner scores → RBI, no AB charged.
  • Sac bunt: Bunt advances runner(s), batter out → no AB charged.
  • Must select explicitly – not automatic.
