If you have requested a refund, please note that it may take up to 10 business days to process the refund.

Little League Age

Baseball

Your child's Little League Age is how old they will be on August 31 of the season year. For example, for the 2026 season, if your child will be 11 as of August 31, 2026 then your child's Little League Age for this season is 11.

Softball

Your child's Little League Age is how old they will be on December 31 of the prior year. For example, for the 2026 season, if your child will be 11 as of December 31, 2025 then your child's Little League Age for this season is 11.

If you're still unsure, you can use the Little League Age Calculator.

Please see the division descriptions in the sections below to determine which divisions your child's age qualifies them for.

Show Your Stuff

New and returning Baseball and Softball players entering "AA" through Majors are required to come to a fun Show Your Stuff evaluation day!

Show Your Stuff consists for various drills to gauge each player's current skillset and ability. Each player will be scored by all coaches and the scores will be combined with a score provided by last year's coach. These scores will be used in the formation of teams to ensure that teams are evenly balanced and all players are playing in the appropriate division for their skill level.

The dates for Show Your Stuff will be held depending on the League dates for the current season (which fluctuates due to the timing of Winter and Spring Break). It is typically held in February or March.

Per Little League International regulations, all players are required to attend evaluations (or schedule an individual makeup session) to be eligible to play. However, the BILL board may grant waivers to players who are unable to attend due to extenuating circumstances.
